The NRG G2 HOD System is optimized for the long-haul trucking industry. Our first model, the NRG G2-TC is calibrated to the Cummins ISX diesel engine platform, and our NRG G2-TD model, calibrated to the Detroit 60 engine type, will be coming off the production line by Q3 of 2012. Based on actual field results, our G2 HOD system is the first system to be commercially viable for the long haul trucking market.
HOW IT WORKS
During an average daily run of 600 miles, the G2 system will use ½ gallon of our specially formulated Hydrogen Filling Fluid, producing over 4300 liters of HHO gas for combustion maximization in the engine. This HHO production replaces approximately 15 gallons of diesel fuel over this single day, reducing fuel costs and harmful emissions. The G2 HOD system holds enough Hydrogen Filling Fluid (2-2.5 gallons) for approximately 3,000 miles of travel, allowing for convenient, weekly refills.
HOW IT’S BUILT
The NRG G2 has been developed and manufactured in the USA. Our manufacturing facility is ISO/TS16949 certified, and follows the APQP product development process. Built to automotive industry standards, with a modular design, rugged construction and sophisticated software, the G2 HOD System is the first system built with the durability and reliability required for commercial and industrial use. Additionally, all maintenance and service can be performed on-site making it easy to maintain.
